After completing an MSc (Masters of Science) in 2010 Noraly joined Utrecht University and started studying for a Ph.D. During her study, she went to Australia for a couple of weeks to collect rocks and shipped them back to the Netherlands which is part of her Ph.D. studies. Staying there for a couple of weeks, Noraly decided to travel for around three months and then continue her studies.
Noraly explores several places and travels around New Zealand, and Australia and also she visits India and explores several new-new places and cultures. While she was in India, Noraly decided to drop out of her Ph.D. and start traveling around the world and exploring new places.
Not only in India, but she also backpacked across Asia. When she was traveling in the Netherlands, Noraly ran out of money and she decided to go back to Australia and earn some money. She went to Australia and started working as a waitress. Then in February 2011, Noraly got a job as a Graduate Exploration Geologist at Breakaway Resources in Perth.
In this job, Noraly has to do gold exploration in Cloncurry, Queensland. After working for around 5 to 6 months there, Noraly left the job and started traveling again, then she traveled around several countries like Central America, South America, Asia, Mexico, etc.
After traveling to these nations for a couple of years, Noraly returned to her hometown Nieuwerkerk, Netherlands as she have no funds to continue traveling. After a few days, Noraly joined Van Oord as an Engineering Geologist in January 2013, as a part of her work, she worked at several places like Jamaica, Kuwait, Australia, The Bahamas, Morocco, Brazil, United Arab Emirates, Dubai, and Indonesia.
In 2015, working at Van Oord, she was promoted to the position of Project Superintendent and then she worked in Kazakhstan, Uruguay, and Brazil.
